Atlanta is more than one player away, so it would be a terrible call. Much like Jerry giving up a #1 and #2 to move up to #6 a couple of years back. Absurd

Didn't they win the division year before last? Weren't they in the NFC Championship game year before last? Last year they were plagued with injury and had a key loss in Julio.

They have been active in FA and improved their OL.

They need athleticism to keep up with Cam and he can get after Drew. He immediately makes the team better with elite talent

and who would you have taken at 6?

He did take it easy this season but that was to protect an investment...he would have been #1 overall in 2013 if it weren't for the rules.

I've heard it for both sides of the 2013 argument. I just hope he is in the gym this offseason leading up to the draft. His bench press at the combine was PATHETIC! F'ing Brady Quinn repped 225 more times than he did.

Im picking later today for the Eagles what do you think their needs are. I think its 1) OLB 2) WR (D-Jax cut) 3) S 4) DE 5) DT

Instead of skipping a team that fails to make their pick on time should NOS just pick BPA available for them if they haven't left a list?

Heck Ill pick for Rams/Johnny if he doesn't in 22 minutes. Rams needs WR, OL, and S

Yes agreed pick the BPA but based on their most important need. Makes sense...

Sounds good to me. There for we have a more accurate draft then a team losing 10 spots because he forgot to check in.

Who would I pick at 6? Any of the top 3 OT's would be a walk in starter and massive upgrade. Anthony Barr would be a great pick for them. Ebron would be a great fit. It might be a slight reach, but Kony Ealy at 6 as a pass rusher and getting another starter in the 2nd round and a possible starter in the 4th in a very deep draft makes more sense than trading up for a guy like Clowney

I think St. Louis trades down with Atlanta right after Houston selects a QB. I don't think anyone believes Houston will take Clowney and will call Houston's bluff that they would. It's much cheaper to trade up to #2 for Atlanta than #1. Just my take on it...

I can see that but will ATL take that chance.

And will HOU take a little less because of the lack of value for a QB at #1? If I were HOU there is no way I'd take a QB at #1 overall. Clowney is a much better prospect and they need an upgrade to the OLB position.

I'd say that is about right... I would also add CB to the top of their needs... At least for rounds 1-2 they should probably take one

OK, by your own logic....Clowney signs, tears it up the first four years, and then ''nurses'' a hammy in the last year of his rookie deal to ''protect his investment''...

Who should Rams pick: WR-Watkins, OT Robinson, OLB Mack.

My suggestion for Rams pick if Johnny doesn't pick by noon is OT Robinson. Thoughts?

Rams would go with either Jake Matthews, Greg Robinson, or Sammy Watkins.

Walterfootball has a list of needs for each team.

They are ok at WR with Maclin and what's his face. They picked up Malcolm Jenkins. I can see LB or DE.

Atlanta would be really foolish to move up. Sure, Julio Jones is great but that team has so many holes, so that trade didn't really pan out great. If anything they should be looking to move down.

So who you take then?

I'd probably take Sammy Watkins at 2 and go OT at 11 or 12 because of depth at the position for them. Robinson, Matthews, Lewan, and the other guy and Martin...one should be there if they want to go that route.
