Kind of agree with NOS. According to NFL.COM Tuitt has the 13th highest grade in the draft and I think he will be very good.

That's great but Eagles didn't draft Tuitt.

I actually like the Eagles draft more than the Skins draft. Looks like the Skins are drafting early again in 15.

Haha yeah I was actually thinking the same thing that the Eagles draft is pretty impressive. Cooks and Jernigan both have 1st round grades on them and Dixon I have seen as early as mid 2nd round so getting him in the 3rd is good value.

Washington's draft would just depend on some health concerns for Richardson. His stock is falling fast with a micro-fracture which in today's NFL is the kiss of death. Players have come back from it but they always seem to have knee issues the rest of their career. Both Walterfootball and CBS Sports have him ranked as the 9th best Offensive Tackle so to me that one was a bit of a reach. Right now both of those sites have him as a 3rd round prospect. Robinson though is great value so I guess you could say those cancel each other out. Swanson was a good pick as well. The Center position seems to have about 3 guys all rated about the same and they all went right about that area so should be a starter for the next 5-10 years barring injuries.

Sometimes it helps when the needs line up with the talent in the draft though. That's another advantage PHI has over WAS in this draft...oh and a first rounder.

I'm a fan of BPA...almost end of story but as always there are exceptions.

Yeah I fall into that category as well. I am willing to reach just a bit if a player is close to who I have ranked at the top but fills a bigger need. I did that with McGill where he maybe wasn't quite the very top of my list but was close enough that I didn't want to pass on him. Plus didn't see anybody that would be there in the 3rd that could be even close to him in potential.

So gkekoa what do you think of the Broncos 2 picks so far? Don't worry you won't hurt my feelings if you don't like them just wondering...So far 1st round picked Dee Ford then 2nd round Keith McGill.

It's pretty good but I think you should have taken Tuitt or Hageman over Ford. With the addition of Ware, you guys are in win now mode. Ford will be playing behind Miller and Ware and could use the help on the interior.

I don't mind the McGill pick but I wouldn't mind seeing an OL here as well because that's what beat DEN in the playoffs. One positive I didn't realize was the signing of Winston Justice.

IF Skins o-line can keep RG3 healthy and give him some time in the pocket then I see them finishing 10+ wins.
I see them having 8 wins unless they fix their defense. If RG3 struggles, the number goes down from there. If the defense plays better, the number goes up

Yeah Ford for me offers the Broncos the best Nascar package in the NFL. Him combined with Ware and Von should cause OL's to go into a panic on passing downs. Yes he isn't an every down starter year one but not sure Tuitt or Hageman would be either. Tuitt plays the same position as that of Wolfe for the Broncos and before Wolfe's injury last year he was turning into a pretty darn good player and played like 95% of the snaps on defense his rookie year. The other side is going to have Ware so again not sure you want to take him off the field all that often. Hageman was a possibility but I took him in the 1st mock that we did so didn't quite want to repeat myself plus he again is a big project. He has all the tools to dominate in the NFL but his game tape is very hit and miss. His Combine says early 1st round pick his game tape says late 2nd round pick and I am more of a game tape type person where Ford for me did well at both his pro day (don't think he ran at the combine) plus his game tape this past season was better than that of the guy who is possibly going to go 1st overall in this draft.

Now for the OL for the Broncos you have to remember they have an All-Pro Left Tackle coming back from the IR in Ryan Clady. The talk right now in Bronco Country is that the Broncos are going to move Franklin to that LG position that Beadles left and then move Clark who played pretty well in Clady's absence to the right side. So not sure OL is of huge need.

thanks for your thoughts though.

Its roughly 60% talent, 20% roster fit, 10% positional value, 10% age for me
