It doesn't bother me if he's using PEDs, honestly. I'm convinced many professional athletes use them and it's easy to pass a urine test. I say this from personal experience, but before starting a new job back in Dec. 2019 I was drug tested having smoked marijuana the night before and having taken adderall the day of (either of which would've disqualified me for the position), and passed after buying some shit from a head shop and drinking a ton of water/taking a bunch of vitamins.

I truly don’t care either. It is entertainment and no one can deny pro athletes on PED’s are more entertaining. The banning of a lot of substances seems more dangerous to an athletes long term health that realizing some dudes need small doses of certain supplements. You and I can take the same exact thing, do the same workout routines and the outcome isn’t going to be the same.

My friend was asking me if I think Bonds should be in the Hall of Fame and I say absolutely. Guys like A-Rod and Bonds would've made the Hall of Fame even if they didn't juice. Like you said, you or I could've loaded up on PEDs back when we were in our athletic prime and it would've have made a difference. I think a lot of people think that the drugs are what make them great players, but realistically speaking it's just an added supplement.

A PED isn't going to increase your ability to track a pitch or make contact on a tough curveball. It's just going to help you hit it a little bit further if you make contact, which is more than half the battle.

Hell if pure physical strength was what made a great hitter, you'd see a lot more NFL players attempt to play MLB.

Half ass joking, but Cruz is the reason there is a debate in the science community right now about men getting hormone therapy way before their testosterone level plummet. He didn’t go all Barry Bonds on PED’s and he lengthened his prime.

back in the day...card dealers...needed...fast hand speed......the hand.is quicker than the eye...cruz..knows..this...and he is a DH..so he does not have to go to the field...that helps

my hand speed started to decline..around 45...i still had better hand speed than most...at 52..but i knew..that i was not as fast..as i used..to be...
when..you are on top..of mt everest..it is a ..long way..down.....so..if you have top...hand speed...you can last...a lot longer...than most

although i was a deck hand ...i cut fish as well...when a jap..guy named taka..would feed me the fish..it sounded like a machine gun...when he would feed me fish like that...they where usually...behind on the table...every cut...was perfect...had to be....we could do that speed...for 2 hours..then..we would have to break..the freezer
no one but me..could cut that fast..no one wanted to..its a bit of work there..but some guys tried...and would last about 10 min..before giving up
the last time...i did that..i was 52...old for that job.......real old...most give up..in there 40s

I was curious what a Sonics fan would think. I think you nailed it. I am a Blazers fan but would like to have the rivalry back even if it took AFraud to make it happen.
