Ya that is a huge upgrade for us. Not my first choice, but better than standing pat wit Locklear. He isn't ready.

I am quite certain Parades could play first base as well as third base his normal position I believe

That was a nice pick up by the cubbies

I am sure we did. Position of need, talented and under control. I guess we didn't have what they wanted or Jerry wouldn't give up what they wanted. Funny that they gave up a .195 hitter to get him and two non top 30 prospects.

Must’ve been something that they just could not agree on because Lord knows we’ve done countless deals with Tampa Bay for the past few years

I was trying to think who we could have matched Morel with and none that I can think of. .199 hitter, but 25 with big homer years.

Not sure how true it is but everyone says he would be terrible at TMobile. An upgrade is an upgrade but if it is true it’s tough to give up prospect capital for him instead of using it to get a Vlad Jr
