The Diamondbacks acquired left-handed reliever A.J. Puk from the Marlins for infielder Deyvison De Los Santos and center fielder Andrew Pintar on Thursday night.

I'm glad they didn't end up getting Chisholm for sure, but it does feel more and more like we have likely seen all this team is going to do this trade season and that's not very comforting.

I had mixed feelings on him. I think he is better than a lot of players we have on this team and has speed that we dearly need.

I actually thought he would end up here.

I was conflicted as well, but it really feels like this club is missing team chemistry and veteran leadership. Someone of his questionable personality could backfire on a squad like the M's more so than a team with strong leadership.

At least they picked up a guy that everyone likes that shouldn't cause any clubhouse issues.

That has been my argument all month about not getting him. He is a bit immature and we have enough of that. I do want a vet 1B and not a washed up one. Vlad or Diaz are two I can think of.
