Total disgraceStanton ain't the only scumbag owner it appears.
I think there is more to the story somewhere. Cause I follow this Pittsburgh radio host on Twitter and he is calling out all the fans who are upset about this. And this is a dude who calls out the Pirates’ owner everyday.Stanton ain't the only scumbag owner it appears.
Ha that is what I said last week. I just don't see the long-term value. I think you can buy 3 prime lineup players for that same money. He is worth that? Is anybody? Give me 5 $100M players over 1 $500M player. Feel out the lineup. In Mariners case they value 5 $1M players over 1 $20M player...lol.Good luck Blue Jays. To me, he is like Prince Fielder
Interesting. Hard to believe the son got it wrong, but who knows these days.I think there is more to the story somewhere. Cause I follow this Pittsburgh radio host on Twitter and he is calling out all the fans who are upset about this. And this is a dude who calls out the Pirates’ owner everyday.
For sure. Just can’t believe they gave him that many years. I think salaries are way too high but in my head I can justify Soto and Ohtani, just to me Vlad Jr is a no go. Basically just a DHHa that is what I said last week. I just don't see the long-term value. I think you can buy 3 prime lineup players for that same money. He is worth that? Is anybody? Not saying the family doesn’t have a right to be upset and the Pirates org was correct. I just heard of the story from Twitter and that host was going off on fans. Don’t know anything about the Pirates but his number on the pad is the only thing they have honoring him?Interesting. Hard to believe the son got it wrong, but who knows these days.
Edit:
- Pirates Statement:
Pirates president Travis Williams said in a statement, "We did not intend to disrespect the legacy of Roberto Clemente by adding the advertisement to the pad in right field," and that the team will be adding the No. 21 logo back to the pad.
