He's been feast or famine over there. His OPS was under .600 as of the beginning of July 2024.....And it continues
He went from one of the most pitcher-friendly environments to one of the most hitter-friendly environments in MLB. Maybe it just took him three months to recover from Mariner Disease. He's been feast or famine over there. His OPS was under .600 as of the beginning of July 2024.....
So he can opt out of his deal a year after his FA eligibility? I think I’m doing that math right
He is a free agent after next year . If he gets hurt and misses 120 before 2030 opt out disappears . they then get another year for 15 mil at their choice .I am not sure I understand that. He would be a free agent if he opts out regardless would he not?
How would he be a FA after next year? It said he has 4 years of club control leftHe is a free agent after next year . If he gets hurt and misses 120 before 2030 opt out disappears . they then get another year for 15 mil at their choice .
And only one stat matters:He went from one of the most pitcher-friendly environments to one of the most hitter-friendly environments in MLB. Maybe it just took him three months to recover from Mariner Disease.
His OPS splits last year:
Home - .860
Road - .734
He is a stud. Saw in in spring training before he was anything. My wife at the time asked, "Is this guy always this good?". She even saw the making of a star.jose ramirez just hit his 3rd homer of the night against the Angels.
The Guardiians are a fun team to watch.
At least one of my fav teams will probably win today. it's 8-4 Guardians in the top of the 9th in Anaheim.
I'd yell sell the team and throw whatever bobblehead at Stanton
