---------------------

This is why the Giants have won 3 Championships in 5 years and why we are the Mariners. Missed signing.

I wanted Aoki, he would have been a good fit. Yet again the type of player the Mariners are missing. .OBP guy with low K rates.

ya, but we don't have the money for extras like Aoki.

Greg Johns retweeted Brett Geertsma

Erasmo has been very good since he moved into Rays rotation on May 14 ... 6-1, 2.52 ERA in 7 starts.

-----------------

Of course he is. 6-2 overall after a 6 inning shutout today.

Right-hander Phillippe Aumont will be called up from Triple-A and start for the Phillies on Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals. It will be his major league starting debut.

He started 10 games in the minors this season, going 3-4 with a 2.55 ERA. He was 1-5 with a 6.13 ERA in 45 relief appearances for Philadelphia from 2012 to '14.

item number 1,238 on the evidence list that proves the m's staff is dysfunctional and incompetent from the very front of the front office down to the base coaches...fuck, maybe even down to the physios.

it's looking hopeless, and i'm not just talking about this season

Corey Hart went 3-for-3 as the Pirates' DH in Thursday's game against the White Sox.

You might have forgotten which team Hart played for now, given that he had entered the night with just 47 at-bats this season. Hie hadn't had a hit since May 24, and he hadn't had multiple hits in a game all year, though that's largely explained by the rarity of his starts.

Angels just had an 8-run inning to take the lead after being down 7-2 to the A's.

4 of the runs were an AlbHGHert Pujols grand slam.

He's hitting .354 with 9 HRs in June. Has 20 on the season. Safe to say it now looks like the Angels $240m contract is looking a bit better than the Mariners $240m contract.

He's also batting .500, 3 for 6 with bases loaded this year... That's clutch...
