Angels with 43 runs in their last 4 games.

We get them for 4 game starting tomorrow.

And after the Halo's, we get the #3 scoring team in all of baseball in the Yankees... Oh joy... We're the 2nd worst team in scoring runs... I'll be surprised if we won more than 2 games combined in both of those series...

Blue Jays signed RHP Phillippe Aumont to a minor league contract.

Aumont elected free agency last month after being removed from the Phillies' 40-man roster and now the Canada native finds himself in the Toronto organization. The former top prospect is merely a depth guy at this point.

I didn't even know he wasn't with Phillies anymore. That whole get Lee, trade Lee ended up being squat for everyone involved. Which is too bad because we got him at a bargain price and couldn't even turn a profit for him.

If you knew the grief I got on ESPN for calling that a shit for shit trade.

The shrieking chorus on there told me he was the KEY to turning the season around.

I'm not exaggerating, either. It was surreal.

And yes, the Blue Jays STILL won that trade.

I have no problem admitting my seething jealousy of the royals.

Their front office/ownership has been awful for a long time, but they made a world series, and are looking good this year and built well for the future.

And they just made themselves stronger.

Agree totally. I was pulling for Padres to be good this year because I like they went for it. They took the M's route by going for names and power and it didn't work for them either.

I also am pulling for the Astros, which I know may not be popular on here, but they developed a team the right way and are now adding to it like they should. Good for them. They even let a high pick go unsigned to pick again the next year..cough..cough Josh Fields.

Yeah I respect and appreciate teams that do things the right way. The way I wish the Mariners would. I tend to pull for those teams too.

Very odd. Have to see how it unfolds but that turf won't be kind to a guy that has trouble staying healthy
