I realize that a new GM isn't a panacea.

But if Z is still around after this season, then I really need to reevaluate whether or not to maintain interest in the team. I fell away from 06-11, and only came back because of the Ackley hype. That kind of says it all.

Smoak hit a grand slam for the Blue Jays today to go up 4-0 on the Yank$.

He's now trending on twitter. Good for him.

Smoak is still only hitting .228/.305/.450. Solid OPS, but at least he didn't drastically improve when he left.

Ya I noticed the same. One major network called it the best deadline deal for a pitcher...lol. I guess he is an NL pitcher at heart.
