Yes hes young, he takes care of his own end and is not a defensive liability for this team. But there is a need to acquire a winger. Nodl just shows no offensive touch at all and is completely bringing down Richie and JVR. As you saw last night, the lines were all mixed up to get Richie and JVR ice time with players that can put the puck in the net. I think Nodl could possibly be the one thing that holds this team back, not goaltending. Also it was nice to see Cole put on a nice audition for Homer.

i dont know if a single forward can 'bring the team down'.. he's ice cold right now, but he did play much better earlier in the year

as far as cole goes, i'd put a significant amount of money on him staying in carolina.. with them in 8th right now, and obviously still in playoff contention, they wont be sellers.. especially considering Cam Ward has already shown the ability to catch fire in the playoffs and carry the team to a cup

The Sabres should be in 8th by the trade deadline and the Canes will panic and start to rebuild with Nodl. I like him but he is the odd man out. Powe has been next to great on the PK as of late.

Do you guys really want to take a veteran off this roster in favor of an un-proven player like Testy 6 weeks before a Cup run? True, the Flyers have 3 or 4 non superstars, but absent a Cole coming here, I am good with that.

I do not want to rely on Testwuide. I have not seen him play but Powe is not going anywhere. I personally think that he is very important to this team. The only players on the roster that would be moved would be Carcillo, Nodl and maybe Zherdev. Any trade the Flyers make will involve Phantoms to a team trying to rebuild.

just saying if we can get cole they are the two that i would send to make a deal...you need toughness in the playoffs gents...nodl and powe are expandable.nodl brings nothing and powe like i said once in a moon makes a nice body check..give him only one thing he gets in your face...but so does everyone else...you already know nodl is not the future he is playing with richy and he has not shown shit..powe please we can lace them up and do what he does for less money....
