Has a career completion % under 60
Career QB rating of 88

He was very mediocre and you don't bring in a mediocre QB with that type of baggage.

I'll admit I was fishing with that post... Looking at the numbers doesn't exactly tell the whole story. His last season, 2016, looks pretty mediocre. But if you consider his supporting cast, RB Shaun Draugn & WR Jeremy Kerly, I think he did the best he could posting ratings around 100 consistently throughout that season, even if his yardage totals were garbage his efficiency was still above average.

Then again, when he had a better supporting cast back in 2013-2015, he was still very erratic & inconsistent on a week to week basis. So the debate could go either way honestly.

I think the debate has a stronger case if we are talking about Kaep being brought in to compete for a BACKUP position and quit viewing him as a starter talent.
