googles tells me they are both about 10 miles away.
glendale itself has a population of 250k, while Tempe has oh....185k

I mean, it is pretty funny to see Gary fighting so hard to keep the Coyotes in the Phoenix area when he barely raised a finger to keep the Jets in Winnipeg. If the plan was to cash in on the Phoenix TV market, I for one sure would like to see the TV revenue as compared to how much money the Coyotes have lost over the past 25 years in that market.

Jackets pre-game guy just interviewed Adam Boqvist and asked if the team was "excited" to play in Mullet Arena. Boqvist looked at him like he had lobsters coming out of his ears before looking around and saying "Not Sure. We'll see. I've never played on a college rink before".

Eric Robinson just said it's better than when he came to play against ASU his junior year. They played in a "youth hockey" rink then.

Brad Larsen gushed "It is what it is".

They showed how the visiting team has to walk on the concourse to get to the ice. Like past the pizza counter. There is no direct path to the locker room from the bench.
