No deadline set for Coyotes new franchise

So my prediction for expansion is for the 2017 season to celebrate the hundredth anniversay of the NHL the owners will divide about 1.25 to 1.5 Billion between them

By then the Hurricanes will have moved to Portland the Panthers to Seattle and the Coyotes to Las Vegas abnd they can then announce the new teams in GTA and QC

The five year out clause kicks in three years from now. I guess that means I'm running out of time to see a game at Jobing.com er Gila River (the arena looks beautiful and based on some pics I've seen plenty of good seats are still available).

It's almost like the NHL is setting this team up to win the Cup or at least have a deep playoff run where ever they may end up in three years. Probably Vegas.

I can't see it lasting much longer. Even the most faithful NHL execs appear to be accepting of its failure. The players union and owners are going to start pushing for teams that aren't making money to be moved. They can't keep ignoring the revenue potential of other cities while teams bleed money.
