I will say I’ve worked with officers from both schools, pretty solid. Can’t say the same for VMI or citadel. God help you if you get an Aggie.

I had an Ensign onbd the USS IOWA from VMI that ran some Deck Div when I was an E5. Was an idiot boot JO, as expected.

Same Ensign wound up my XO on USS LEYTE GULF many years later. Was a total asshat at the beginning, but I liked him at the end. Go figger.

Hell of a lot of difference...not like that job with Raytheon is going to go stale but pro athletes have a limited shelf life.

Does every cadet graduate have the opportunity to go reserve or defer their active duty status?

Just an FYI. 2020 travel plans are back thru Fiji to Solomons, then month in Indonesia. So no new postcards next year.

Later year plans are bouncing from Indonesia to Egypt, Maldives in the mix. Or back to GWS cage diving in Mexico. No clue, waiting to see what vacay daughter can cobble together.
