wasn't as egregious as gorkys hold up 3rd strike check swing in the first game, but maybe as impactful
I would say this one was worse. I mean, they got to look at it again and somehow saw something different than what even huge homers like myself have to admit we saw.

i'm sorry, he held up clear and simple in the 1st game and every post game analyst i've heard has agreed. the difference was if gorkys got on there was a good chance he would have scored - which would have a dramatic change on the outcome

Oh, I'm not denying he held up. I'm just saying that that one can just go down as a bad call. This one they got a second chance and still blew it.

The second strike to Bryant was a clear ball. The last ball to Soler was a clear strike. Otherwise, this plate ump has been great today.

That's not the first strike he's missed tonight.

That second strike against Bryant was a foot outside.

Don't put in Strop. Put in Wood

And I have a bad feeling about Crawford.

Strop can be good, or really bad.

Fuck. Strop can be lights out, three outs on ten pitches or he can be a disaster. We'lll know from the first few pitches

The worst call tonight was not the replay. It was the no-swing call against Russell in the second. That should have been strike 3. Instead it cost bum 6 pitches that AB which led to a HBP. That directly led to the huge 2nd inning by the Cubs.
