Damn it so much happening all at once!

Dodgers tie the game off of a brutal slide by Utley taking a shot to the head flipping the short stop in the air

Then Mexico scores right as I flip over to the US game

Eh, was a bit late on the slide there, but Murphy kinda led him the wrong way on the toss

It's a shitty result but I don't blame utley at all for going in hard and legally. No idea how he is safe though

He went to the dugout because he was called out, upon review they saw Tejada never touched the bag and called him safe.

So if there is play at home plate and the catcher misses the tag and the runner never touches home they score? It doesn't make any sense

Don't matter. Missing the base is missing the base.

Umps screwed it up a bit
IMO Utley should have been called out since he clearly wasn't going for the base - just going for Tejada but admittedly that is subjective

Tejada didn't touch the base so that is why review called Utley safe
But on the other hand as far as I know Mets scrwed up because I don't think I saw a Met player step on second with the ball in hand :noidea:

You don't have to touch bases to be safe anymore?

Utley needs to get fucked up for that slide. Total BS.

Nope. Just like when a guy strikes out on a ball in dirt and just walks away without being tagged out sometimes.

If you don't go to the base and tough it, you literally can't be safe. It's what safe means lol.
