But I'll never understand our pitchers. All of them get to 2 strikes, and then think they have to go out of the strikezone to get a strikeout.

Folty was the world's worst at turning an 0-2 count into a 3-2 count, but he has gotten a lot better in that regard. If you stuff is good enough, you can get swinging strikeouts in the zone, and obviously if they don't swing, a looking strikeout is still in play.
