Exactly. They sent the runner because it took a perfect throw to nail the runner and there were 2 outs. Everyone is a genius after-the-fact. If he had scored, I wonder how many "why did they send the runner" posts we would have seen?

It might just be confirmation bias that I remember all of his bad pitches. I do agree that he shouldn't have been pitching to Rizzo again because his pitch to Rizzo last game was unexcusably bad
