You might want to tell your fellow Braves fans the same thing. I am only echoing what I have read in this thread

I think it's pretty dumb for someone who hasn't watched many Braves games to come in and pretend like they know the dynamics of the team. Snit has been over his head since 2017. He got a little better this year, but still made some decisions that have no explanation.

We have a really good roster, and a really good supporting coaching staff, but we have a retarded manager.

Are the Cardinals the biggest snowflake team in MLB history?

"The tomahawk chop is disrespectful, even though the Braves have the blessing of every tribe in the region and the foam tomahawks are manufactured by the North Carolina band of the Cherokee Nation"

- some retard Card's reliever

"Ronald Acuna Jr's home run trot was disrespectful"

- some retard Card's reliever that used to be their ace starter.

God, I hope we win this series.

And I think it is ridiculous to think that anyone on this board feels they can do a better job managing a Major League pitching staff and bull pen.

When everyone says a move is stupid, and said move costs us the game, anyone with knowledge of the the team and common sense can make a better move. Especially in the playoffs, you stay with the hot hand. Him not doing that cost us game one, when everyone and their mama said Max Fried should have came back for the 8th, and it damn near cost us game 2 when he brought Melancon back in the day after he threw about 35 pitches and allowed about a million runs.

Yeah, but he went right back with Melancon in game 2, as he should, and Melancon got the save. Closers are going to have shitty days but that doesn't mean you don't go back to them.

He's the closer for a reason.

Wainwright had a 97 mph pitch.

I don't remember that from him ever before.

He starts the top of the first with a beastly half, using several different pitches.

Soroka is just as good in the bottom half. I like watching a pitcher make his first career start in the playoffs. That usually helps with the excitement for that particular game.

That's true in 162 games, but in a 5 game series when that pitcher and your decision cost you the first game, you don't jeopardize game 2. It was a 3 run game, and Melancon had the tying run at the plate. Fried was once again making the hitters look stupid.

And the offense is just gonna lay down and die against a 38 year old they knocked around earlier this year.

Just forfeit and and come back tomorrow.

Yeah, Sam Holbrook behind the plate too, the offense just laying down and dying and 25 MPH exit velocity hit being a double for the Cards, we ain't winning this one.
