I am curious as to how they’ll use Newk. Haven’t used him yet. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him come in a long relief role in game 4 after pulling Julio for a run situation early. Almost like the Folty situation today in the 4th.

I've been to a lot of Braves games, but that's the best crowd I've ever at any game I've been too. I've been in games with a more rowdy crowd(I was at the 2012 WCG), but the crowd was loud the entire night.

ANd Folty was fucking great. I was cussing Snit for pulling him after 7, but Duvall shut me up pretty quick, and I was damn sure cussing him when he brought Melancon out for the 9th, and I was pissed when the tying run came to the plate, but it worked out.

It's a series again, but pissing away last night's game thanks to God awful managerial decisions still doesn't sit well with me.

Julio has two gems against the Cards this year. That means nothing now, but it's not like when we put up a 95 year old Freddy Garcia against prime Clayton Kershaw with the season on the line.

Folty's overall numbers for the season are the worst in the rotation, but he's been our ace since he got called up from Gwinnett in August. When he's on, his stuff is the best on the team. Really, I think 2020 is gonna be a big year for Folty. Last year, he was awesome, but he walked a shit ton of batters, but he got away with it because he set the Atlanta record for lowest batting average against in a season. He cut down on his walks when he got called back up, and really kept his head a lot better than he did last season(last season, Folty would have melted down after Ozzie's error).
