In case you aren’t following my Tweets and haven’t heard the news, the Giants made a lineup change. Juan Uribe wasn’t able to swing a bat because of a left wrist injury he sustained while sliding into second base last night.

Edgar Renteria was told just prior to batting practice that he’s starting at shortstop, hitting eighth. Cody Ross moves up from eighth to sixth, which is what many folks wanted Bruce Bochy to do, anyway.
