I had all the Yankees baseball cards for 1956 and 1957. I wish I still had them. They disappeared when I was in the Navy.
Check my avi. I was AO3. That pic is me on the IntrepidI had all the Yankees baseball cards for 1956 and 1957. I wish I still had them. They disappeared when I was in the Navy.
Let's face it, Astros would not be equipped to deal with these Dodgers. LA vs power rejuvenated NY is the best WS.
I'm leaning Dogs 4 games to 2, win it in NY
I don't think so. Hope so but they are good enough to win if NY stumbles just a littleYa think we should really count the Astros out?
That would be in LA
I had hundreds of MLB cards when I was a kid. I used them on my bike wheels to make them sound like a Harley. I wish I had those same cards today.I had all the Yankees baseball cards for 1956 and 1957. I wish I still had them. They disappeared when I was in the Navy.
Congrats Dodger fans
I was living in Los Angeles during the 63 WS, when the Dodgers beat the Yankees in 4 straight. Koufax was great in that series.I was wondering if any of you guys are old enough to have ever seen a Yankee/Dodger WS. I have and look forward to another. The Sandy Koufax and Whitey Ford days were awesome.
Yes I watched Larsen's perfect game on TV too. I also listened to the 55 WS between the Dodgers and Yankees on the radio. Fond memories.I saw Don Larsen pitch his perfect game in the 1956 World Series, Yanks and Brooklyn Dodgers, game 5, I believe it was. I watched it on our 12” black and white tv on Marshall Street in Lancaster, Pa. I distinctly remember Yogi Berra jumping into Larsen’s arms when he threw the final pitch. It will always stick in my mind.

Not yet - Houston is a good team, but I am thinking a Dodgers vs Yankees World Series would be epic and draw more viewers - Might be the most watched of all timeYa think we should really count the Astros out?
