Chicago is batting .162 in the post, led by pitchers Lester and Quintana,:pound:each hitting .250. Pitching 4.01 ERA
Los Angeles is batting .275 in the post, led by Puig, .438 and Turner, .429. Pitching 2.60 ERA

Looks like you've gotta show up to win.

Damn. I knew they weren't hitting shit vs Nats, but the trend continues...

.162/.251/.262/.513

I wonder what the guy who caught the ball is going to get for it?

He gave it up to Turner last night. Wonder what the Dodgers gave him for it. Heck of a grab for the old timer.

@calsnowskier @moxie On a scale of 1-1988 how salty is Giants nation right now?
Haha, we be salty.

The only remaining team with a better regular season bully ERA is the yanks. I have to say that Jensen has gotten better over the years. The Gs sure made good use of their 'pen in that 5 year run.

Maybe we'll never find out what he got for the ball. What would you ask for it Outlaw?

I think having lasorda out of the picture has lessened my dislike somewhat. He had/has such a disagreeable personality. I've been half tempted to make this my avatar:

I would ask for another ball signed by the whole team, personally. If they end up winning the whole thing that would probably end up being more valuable, plus I've been a fan of Turner's since he was a lowly utility player just praying for AB's so I wouldn't ask for any money and I'd want him to have the ball. I imagine the fan that caught it felt similarly since he gave it up so fast.

I didn't get to see Lasorda in his prime but he just seems like so much fun. He's like the Italian Puig.

I'd ask for season tickets for two bleacher seats and a handy from an usher (preferably female, but soft hands mandatory).

I wouldn't "ask" for anything. If Turner were to offer something, then by all means accept it and thank him. Looking at that guys story, I think he's someone that is just enjoying his retirement and loves him some Dodgers baseball. I doubt he cares about getting money out of it.

Never did care too much for Lasorda, but having Vin Scully made up for it.

So what would you ask for?

For me, seeing as how he's making 12m this year, I think 10-15k would be in order, and I don't think he would be offended at all.

Lol. I wouldn’t ask for money. Maybe tickets to the WS (if they make it) along with some other signed in game memorabilia.

Hendricks dodged a huge bullet. A lot of the Dodgers righties have reverse splits. Won't be easy for him today.

Home run for the Cubs, that means Dodgers winning this game, right? Lol

Darvish is having trouble hitting his spots. I like how the Cubs are bat-flipping everything, they're taking it personal. This is getting competitive.
