He ain't got nothin' on Cueto.Kershaw has 3 CG shutouts in his last four starts. He gave up one run in 8 innings against the Angels (allowed 4 hits and struck out 11).

Alex Wood is right there with Cueto on K-BB%, Cueto is getting helped by BABIP while Wood is hurt by it, and Cueto's FIP is unsustainably low. Cueto's lowest FIP was 3.27 and that was in 2012 - right now it's way down at 2.19.Can he pitch every day? Only way Los Doyers have a chance. It's Kershaw, then flip a coin and pray if you are a Doyer fan.

They'll both regress (Wood will look better while Cueto will look worse), Cueto will still be better than Wood, but then Wood isn't expected to be the Dodger's #2 starter.
Speaking of regression, Scott Kazmir is also looking to regress. All of his peripherals look great, outside of his last start.
Don't sleep on the Dodgers rotation, my friend.
Just because I said Cueto's performance isn't sustainable, it doesn't mean that I think he'll regress to mediocrity. The ranges one could reasonably expect Cueto to regress to are very very good. I wasn't knocking him, as much as saying that he won't be THIS good all year. I knew from the get-go that he was a great signing for the Giants, especially at that price. I wanted the Dodgers to sign him. Please don't compare Cueto to Wood ever again. Wood has struggled to get out of the 5th inning on a few starts this season and we are only 25% through, among other things. Cueto has been worth every penny of his contract up to this point with quality start after quality start. Cueto is pitching to his defense and doing so successfully. You may think it's unsustainable, but I think its more sustainable then you think because of the markedly improved defense behind him and the fact that the home park he pitches in is SIGNIFICANTLY better for pitchers then the bandbox he left.
The Dodgers entire pitching staff is exactly what they are...a rotation of Kershaw and a handful of #4's and a gas can for the pen outside of Jansen.
A broken clock is still right twice a day.Man, Even sorry ass Peavy is getting in on it now. 7 innings and one run. Another one run win for the Giants.
Another win though and most likely another game picked up on the Dodgers.A broken clock is still right twice a day.
Meanwhile, Scott Kazmir strikes out 12 in 6 innings and the Dodgers are going for their 4th win in a row to end a 20-game-in-20-days stretch.Another win though and most likely another game picked up on the Dodgers.

They all count. To be fair both the Dodgers and Giants just swept some pretty shitty teams.
They all count.
Jake Peavy looks like a fun guy to meet at a bar.Fair enough, just sayin' Peavy was mighty glad to face the Pads instead of the Rockies in CO Friday.
A win is a win even if it is against the worst franchise in the league.Pitching well against the Padres doesn't mean much, the offense is horrible.
Ya, the Dodgers are hanging in there and its starting to piss me off.Meanwhile, Scott Kazmir strikes out 12 in 6 innings and the Dodgers are going for their 4th win in a row to end a 20-game-in-20-days stretch.
