Brito certainly has a better approach in the box than Tomas. Tomas swings at everything.
I haven't seen much of their ST games to know, that's good if he can be a capable CFer. Tomas is gonna have to really step up offensively now to show why they gave him that contract....we know it's not because of the defense.I think Sacrates Brito brings much of the same skill set that Inciarte brought. Speedy outfielder with good defense and from what I've seen last season and in spring training he is a capable offensive player.
No mention of the flu he's battling, huh? Interesting.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, mox. "The flu."
I'm surprised you guys aren't saying he donated a kidney to a dying child minutes before first pitch.

I don't expect the Giants to score 12 in 40+ games this year, but this is a potent offense.

So you are saying this is NOT a potent offense?Very potent with the bunts.

Ok. Gotcha. No, I've just never seen so many perfectly laid bunts. Really helps string an inning along, and the fact that the Giants have many fast players who hit for average leads to situations like going first-to-third on singles and stuff like that. It's interesting and unorthodox. Should have sat Wood down after the 5th though, we had no momentum whatsoever after that 2nd rally.
Ok. Gotcha.
I can't disagree with this post. This is not a traditional potent offense with boppers up and down the lineup. It is a pesky lineup with .280+ hitters all throughout.
