No mention that the Pads lost Kennedy?
That's it. All hope for the Padres is lost now...
LOS ANGELES (1/28/16)-- Some 66 years after he started broadcasting games for the Dodgers, Vin Scully is set to go on the map.
If the Los Angeles City Council has its way, Elysian Park Avenue will forever be known as Vin Scully Avenue, and the decision to change the name of the one-third-mile stretch of road could come as early as Friday afternoon.
The proposal was brought forward by councilman Gil Cedillo, who will make a motion for the name change at Friday's City Council meeting.
In a related story, the street will be reconfigured to meander aimlessly and not actually get anywhere.

* are they still doing those ads down there?
I like SNLA. I watch it all the time.I don't know. They don't show the Dodgers on TV any more.
Co-signed, the 2016 Arizona Diamondbacks and [hopefully] the 2016 San Francisco Giants.Signed, the 2015 San Diego Padres
I think the Zonas won't be like the 2015 Padres, they didn't destroy one of their strengths(defense and hitting) to improve the pitching weakness. They could have guys like Pollock and Peralta take a step back from what they did last season, or the pitchers they added not pitching up to what the DBacks were hoping for. Giants signed a pitcher who had a horrible 2015 and one who had a bad 2nd half of 2015, along with a CFer who has trouble staying healthy. Still, they improved in those areas even with question marks surrounding them. I'm definitely rooting for the Giants to co-sign that shit, their even year title run must end!Co-signed, the 2016 Arizona Diamondbacks and [hopefully] the 2016 San Francisco Giants.

Dodgers didn't have a big off season but added to their SP depth and get a full season from that pretty good SS Corey Seager. Offense should be fine, we'll see if the rotation outside of CK and the BP outside of Jansen can be consistent and healthy enough through the entire season to get them back to the postseason.
