Quit it with the Negative Nancy gimmick. It isn't amusing at all, it's fucking annoying.

The foolishness of sending Chris Heston down to the minors to sit around and get rusty and then throwing him in to get bombed by the best team in baseball is beyond any level of stupidity I've ever seen from the Giants. Stick a fork in 'em. they are done.

He was getting bombed before the rest too homie. He's young and is throwing the most innings of his career...rest for a kid who you hope is in your future is actually a SMART decision. But how foolish to protect your investment long term despite the shine of potential short term returns. They should all be fired.

Arrieta. Wow. One of the best performances I've ever watched.

Tonight: Peavy vs Anderson - edge Giants
Tuesday: Bumgarner vs Greinke - slight edge Giants (mainly due to Giants offense and bully)
Wednesday: Kershaw vs Leake - edge Dodgers

While sweeps are certainly possible, they are unlikely in either direction. The series means more to the Giants as far as the standings are concerned, but more to the Dodgers as far as momentum is concerned. Seeing as it will likely NOT be a sweep, ultimately, it will not be do-or-die for either team.

The final series between the 2 teams in SF will probably determine who wins the division, if the Dodgers aren't up 3 or 4 games going into that series I could see them losing their lead and missing the playoffs altogether since they suck playing in SF. There's more pressure on LA to at least win 2 of 3 here.

No thanks...although Tuesday's MadBum vs. Greinke matchup looks to be a doozy.

You going to any of these games? It's gonna be hard to get in there. Damn, I just hate trying to get on the Hollywood Freeway after games at Dodger.

Why? Aren't most of the Dodgers fans home by then?

Unfortunately no for work reasons, although I'm not a fan of Chavez Latrine, but I may be going up north when they play the final 4 game series at AT&T.

The traffic is about as atrocious as leaving Candlestick Park after a game, but unlike Candlestick, you can't tailgate at Dodger Stadium so you can't set up a 2nd tailgate while waiting for the traffic to die down.

At Dodger either get out really early, get in line and wait to get in line to get in line to get on the Hollywood Freeway or relax and take your time getting to the car.

Leaving Lakers games is 1000x better (depending on where you park). I always take my time leaving there and maybe even stop and get one more cold one at the restaurant before getting in the car (sober, of course).

Leaving Chargers games is hell too. You sit in the parking lot forever.

Leaving Candlestick is easy now since it's a pile of rubble

We cannot look forward to next year. We still have the complete incompetence in the FO, still. Until Sabean, Evans, Baer, Bochy, Tidrow, etc are shown the door, this team will continue to be an embarasment.

But we won't have the injuries. Problem is we'll have no rotation either. The guys you mentioned above saw to that with their insane contracts for Lincecum and Cain and their cheapskatedness toward Lester and refusal to go after Hamels Cueto or Price.

That's just it, he's not young, he's almost 28.
