Andre Ethier might not get traded* for a ham sandwich after all. Some sucker team might actually have to give up something decent!

*Assuming he waives his 10-and-5 rights, which kick in this year.

Might be a disappointing season for the Padres, but at least the cycle drought is over! Thank you Kemp.

Next up....no hitter(thrown by a Padres pitcher)

I love Mudcat. I hope he's always on TV for the Padres.

I fully expected Tyson Ross or Andrew Cashner to come out and throw a no-hitter before the All-Star Break this season.

Mudcat is awesome, one of my favorite announcers.
Both are capable of throwing one, hopefully one of them can get it done...while still on the Padres. Would be nice to get cycle and no hitter accomplished in the same season. Then all that's left is to get the WS next year!

The Giants pulled off a sweep of the team that annointed themselves "The team to beat in the National League" this weekend. Well, I guess they were the team to beat since the Giants beat 'em 4 times. Unfortunately, the Giants will come up just short this year. Too many blown games with a sub-standard rotation and all those injuries is just too much.

At least I don't have a topless photo of Tom Brady as my moniker. Its creepy. Are you crazy? I am admired and my opinion is sought after on the Niners board.

NN or Montalban or whatever you go by. You win the prize for biggest dildo in life. Period. You were hated on the Niner Board and you are at best tolerated on the Giants Board. Your doom and gloom schtick mixed gently with your false bravado gets old after about 2 posts. Your different SNs don't hide the fact that you are undisputed giant nozzle of douche. Congrats for holding the crown for so long but don't try to hand it off to other undeserving posters. You EARNED it!

For someone who claims to be a Giants fan, you sure have mastered the art of doubting this group that has proved your bullshit whining wrong 3 times in the last 5 years. But don't let results get in your way. Or trends. Notice that this team, once again, is getting hot during the stretch run? Probably not. Too busy being a d-bag.

LOL! Does that poster of Brady hang above your bed? I remember when I was 10 years old I had a poster of John Brodie.

Nope, not a fan of Brady at all, but if you could read, you would have realized that and come up with a better response. Try again old man.

Its just not quite there this year. They are going to live to regret those two games they threw away with Atlanta when leading with two out and two strikes in the bottom of the 9th. Those are two among several this year that they have blown in that manner but those two will haunt them.

Good lord, I hope it is not his nudity that attracts you to the poster of Brady.

In EVERY 162 game season, there are lows like there are highs, including the years the Giants won it all. In years past, it was the putrid offense in your rants that would be their downfall, despite their penchant for timely hitting. This time, you are focused on an improved pitching staff. When will you learn to stop doubting until they prove you should?

What they've had to overcome this year is just too much. Pence, Aoki, Lincecum, Panik, Cain, Pagan, Hudson, Peavey, Susac. At some point you need more than grit, you need talent and they've lost too many games from these folks. A reasonable year of injuries and the Giants are 10 games ahead.

And the Dodgers didn't "blown games and have injuries to their starting rotation"? The Giants weren't/aren't the only team that had injuries. It's Part of the game.
