Mudcat is awesome, one of my favorite announcers.
Both are capable of throwing one, hopefully one of them can get it done...while still on the Padres. Would be nice to get cycle and no hitter accomplished in the same season. Then all that's left is to get the WS next year!

In years past, it was the putrid offense in your rants that would be their downfall, despite their penchant for timely hitting. This time, you are focused on an improved pitching staff. When will you learn to stop doubting until they prove you should?

What they've had to overcome this year is just too much. Pence, Aoki, Lincecum, Panik, Cain, Pagan, Hudson, Peavey, Susac. At some point you need more than grit, you need talent and they've lost too many games from these folks. A reasonable year of injuries and the Giants are 10 games ahead.
