Dodgers finally coming back down to earth and Giants now up two in The Column. No Kershaw and no Bauer for the foreseeable future. Good news.

Giants still up two in The Column. Posey and Longoria still out but scrubs are stepping up

How in the hell does this lineup have 60 wins? Everyone is injured and they keep rolling. Awesome.

Another brutal loss last night. They should be used to it though, it’s probably the 8th or 9th ninth inning lead they’ve blown this year so hopefully it won’t affect them to much
That ninth inning closer role is the one glaring weakness for the team

Top 5 NL teams by Wins Above Average (all positions)

1. Giants (12.1)
2. Dodgers (10.3)
3. Padres (8.1)
4. Brewers (6.0; their non-pitchers are -0.9 lol)
5. Braves (2.0)

The next team is the Marlins at 0.1. Diamondbacks position players have been "worth" -15.8 wins below average.

he D'Backs are embarrassingly bad. The Giants are surprisingly good.

The Giants have been walked off on 8 times this year.

in the next game, they are 6-2. That’s some resiliency, right there.

There is a first time for everything. The Giants are now 1 and 25 when trailing entering the 9th inning after last night’s come from behind 9th inning win

Yastrzemski is hitting the hardest .235 I’ve ever seen and Posey the softest .330 I’ve ever seen

Posey's slugging .555. His 162 game pace for 2021 would be 36 home runs. Doesn't sound very soft.

He doesn't seem to be producing much for a .330 average. Don't get me wrong, I'm very pleased with his average because I thought he was done. He's been mediocre for the last several years since his MVP days.

On what planet is a corner OF hitting .229/.322/.483 (116 OPS+) seem more productive than a catcher hitting .323/.412/.543 (158 OPS+)?

Every team in the NL West is 5-5 in their last 10 games. Zero change in the standings in almost 2 weeks.
