Best record in the National League.
Gausman, baby! six innings pitched today, no runs and only one hit. Can't really draw much of any conclusion from one start IMO.
Went up to Phoenix a couple of weeks ago to watch the Giants play, and in the second game we watched, Giants were down early 4 to nothing, then scored two in the sixth and after an opening single in the 8th they hit back to back pinch hit homers to take the lead 5 to 4. The place was going crazy! All Giants fans and I felt so sorry for the Diamondbacks because they don't even have any fans when they are at home. Gotta be the only team in baseball history where that happens every game.On May 11, the D-Backs were 17-19. They're now 20-46. They're 2-14 in one-run games

how do you lose 23 straight on the road?
Because you are playing the team with the best record in baseball, baby!how do you lose 23 straight on the road?
Have you seen them play? Not a good team...how do you lose 23 straight on the road?
...But a big three run bomb in the 13th in his 6th at bat to put the game away. Nice! scored 7 runs on 2 hits in the 13th to win another series. First game in MLB history where the NL team used the DH and the AL team did not.Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a guy strikeout 5 times in a game before.
I believe the Giants were also the first NL team to not use the DH in a DH game. Odd....But a big three run bomb in the 13th in his 6th at bat to put the game away.
