Giants need to find someone who can get that third out in the 9th inning when they have the lead. I think they've lost 5 games this year when they had a good lead with two outs in the 9th, They had a 6-2 lead with two outs in the Ninth last night and lost the game.

Starting to feel that way, Posey has never been better, the pitching is ridiculous, long way to go but looking good...

Baseball is fun like that, every year some team or two is surprisingly good, why not the Giants this year? Their 2010 win was about a year 'early' based on expectations. So maybe they are a surprise wildcard team.

There are other teams that surprise on the downside each year too...Twins maybe?

I think there's legitimacy to the Giants start. I felt like they had some dark horse potential coming into the season with an improved rotation and a cromulent lineup. I think they'll be in the hunt in September but I think the Dodgers and Padres are going to start playing much better ball eventually.

These painful losses when leading in the 9th are going to come back to bite the Giants. Tonight they lost leads in the bottom of the 9th and the bottom of the 10th. Bullpen is a serious weakness.

And again today the Giants lose it in the 9th. Getting to be a real bad habit. They are a solid closer from being a really good team.

Gausman is good. Where did this guy come from? Reminds me for some reason of Lincecum Wait til Cueto gets healthy; they'll have 5 solid starters

Gausman was a pretty highly touted prospect, just never really put it together in Baltimore or Atlanta. The home runs gave him issues, and pitching in Camden Yards and the AL East probably didn't do him any favors.
