Phillies are 8-17 and that includes todays loss.
Braves = pwned.
Braves and Phillies are doing everything they can to hand each other the division and neither one wants it.
Philly might just wind up in third...The Nationals are 3.5 back and can close that to 1.5 by tonight -- although I doubt they can sweep a DH in CBP.
Philly at least has one of the best home records in the league
Harper now batting .316/.447/.520 over his last 30 games. He has 20 walks to 12 strikeouts in his last 15 games, hitting .308/.533/.538. He's back.
.329/.448/.594 with a 175 wRC+ since the All-Star break.
That has surely turned out.
Braves are on another streak of wins and have the magic number down to 12.
Chop Chop Mo Fos
Braves are the exact opposite of a normal young team, we are Terrible at home and really fucking good on the Road.
Which is frustrating as hell.
Maybe if we clinch the division early we need to tank so we don't have home field in the NLDS.
Braves swept the Giants, and Phillies were swept. What a good week this is turning out to be.
Magic Number down to 10.
Braves host the Nats this weekend, starting tomorrow
Phillies host the Marlins
Watch out, NL East! David Wright set to debut on Sept 29th!
And then he will retire.
He should have retired before this season started.
did anyone see Matt Schurzer's last appearance on the mound? He was sweating so much that he had to replace his hat in like the 3rd inning. Yuck!!!
5.5 game lead with 10 GAMES left and im still skeptical/nervous as hell.
Typical Yankees/Red Sox fan. Completely ignorant of the game outside of their team.
A guy that has a good shot to win his 3rd straight and 4th overall Cy Young award, and is a virtual lock for the Hall of Fame and you don't even know his name.
The guy is your typical Yankees fan that knows nothing of the game outside of the Yankees.
Braves are 49-45 against teams .500 or better.
Well.....I dont like him.
The Braves have a shot in any series against a NL team.
Most of the top starting pitchers in the league play on non-playoff teams, that is a big break for the good guys.
We're top 10 in MLB in most statistical categories, we measure up on paper.
