Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain
FixedGod the Brewers lineup is beyond woeful. It's too bad because the pitching/defense ain't bad

Kyle Schwarber sounds like the loser kid that becomes a hero after a montageLars Nootbaar sounds like the name of a douche bag rich kid skier from an 80s movie who the hero has to compete against to win king of the mountain.
You guys seem to have the Phillies number this year. Cards are a really solid team. They are maybe one or two pieces away from being as good as any of the other non-Dodgers teams in the NL.I do think its funny that the double header went from a tight pitchers duel to the second game having a million runs.

It is kinda Dodgers vs the world in the NL but there are a few potentially good teams. You guys seem to have the Phillies number this year. Cards are a really solid team. They are maybe one or two pieces away from being as good as any of the other non-Dodgers teams in the NL.
And baseball is funny like that. Anything can happen in a 7 game seriesIt is kinda Dodgers vs the world in the NL but there are a few potentially good teams.
Cards seem to just be a little more clutch this year than last. If Walker and Arenado are hitting then its a good lineup. Herrara as DH, Arenado lower in the order...lots of potential.
In the past when the Cards have done well with this type of team they've had better pitching and/or a bit more power. I'm not too worried about the power but the pitching probably isnt where it needs to be to really think this team is going to make a ton of noise.
Hey, Walker is 6 for 18 in the last 7 games. Clearly going to be a superstar ignore everything else he has done this season.Walker just seems to continue to regress. Not ready to call a 23-year-old a bust, but I can't say there's a lot that makes me think he's trending in the right direction. I really like Donovan, he strikes me as a poor man's Ben Zobrist. You guys have a pretty decent lineup, but if Walker figures things out it can be a top lineup in the NL (if not MLB). Rotation doesn't look shabby at all, especially with Liberatore breaking out. I like your pitching staff more than the Cubs, though I think the Cubs have the superior position players. The only Cub hitters really struggling have been 75-year-old Justin Turner and Matt Shaw, who is a highly regarded prospect that's played 22 games.
Man, that’s rough. He has a complete game 8 innings 1 ER start vs Philly and lost 1-0. Brutal
