I went to Wrigley for the first time 2 years ago. Other than being able to say I've been there, it did nothing for me. It's an old smelly stadium. I wasn't impressed.

I've been to Wrigley many times over the years and the only time it smelled good was when the Cardinals won there.

Wrigley blows. When you get a chance, catch a game at Miller Park. You won't be disappointed

I would like to check that out. I agree on Wrigley. The cement was all stained from years of humidity and spilled beers. The bathrooms were mostly old and crappy.

I've been to Miller Park and it is a beautiful stadium. The only thing I didn't like about it was the night I was there your Brewers beat my Cardinals but I guess I can't blame that on the stadium.

You described that place perfectly but I guess the Cubs and their fans wouldn't have it any other way.

Miller park is a great place to catch a game. Easily better than Wrigley and GATrailerPark. Busch/Miller are a close 2nd behind PNC

Why is Lane Thomas on the roster but on the bench? Fowler totally pulled up on that ball in the gap, speed would have caught it. Then Schildt leaves Wainwright in when he was pretty much on fumes.

I think you are giving up a little too quickly with a lot of baseball left to be played but I was certainly hoping the Brewers would have performed better at Wrigley just like I was hoping the Cardinals wouldn't be 0-2 on their west coast trip so far.

Yep, as bad as Bader is with his hitting I think he would have caught that ball with his speed, even though he has been sent down.

Wainwright was on fumes all day without having any 1, 2, 3 innings and the play you mentioned would not have happened if Waino had not hit two back to back batters that ended up putting us behind with the play that you mentioned.

As far as Lane Thomas is concerned, he has to earn his way into the Cardinal's starting lineup which is just a part of being a Cardinal's fan. I'm guessing that Schildt still wanted Fowler's bat in the lineup vs. Thomas's bat at that point in the game but all of this will not change my mind in being a loyal Cardinal's fan forever.

We played two home and home series against the A's this season and we didn't beat them even once. They are 9-4 against the NL this season and I hope that trend continues since they begin a series against the Cubs at Wrigley tonight.

Los Rojos up 6-2 tonight on Trout and the boys. We got swept in our 2 game stint out there, so we really need to save face and get these 2 from them.

3 key weekend 4 game series coming for us. Cubs/Cards/Bucs next 3 weeks. Reds hold their own fate in their hands. TCOB and we are alive and kicking come September.

Anyway....Castillo v Trout tonight....Trout has 1 HR and 1 single, 1 BOB.

Yes indeed. Oakland took it to us as well, IIRC it was fresh off our sweep of Houston, I know we had just played SF out there as well and spent the week in the bay. Oakland is very mercurial and dangerous.

One thing I've got to say about you for sure is that you're just like me when it comes to not giving up until the math says we have to so good for you!

What's weird about Oakland is they don't really have any superstars but as a team they sure find a way to win.

Just a bunch of solid dudes. No stars, just guys who are role players doing it well.
