Congratulations to your Brew Crew for taking advantage of the moment with the Cardinals being ice cold and the Cubs losing 3 out of 4 at the Giants. Don't get too comfortable just yet though because the Brewers are heading to the Reds to begin a series and the Reds are also one of the hottest teams in baseball right now.

Your Crew is certainly playing outstanding baseball recently but I think you might agree with me that the lead in the NL Central might change hands several more times before the end of this long season.

Absolutely and unless things don't change in the second half of the season both wildcards will come out of the NL West which means only the NL East and NL Central division winners will even make the playoffs. Good theater for sure!

The NL East and the NL Central are weak compared to the NL West but there is still a lot of baseball left to be played.

After tonights win against the Reds I looked at the upcoming schedule and of the next 25 games only 3 are with a team with a record better than .500 that being a series with the Cubs the last few days of June. Hopefully they can keep it up. The pitching has been nice

Indeed. I have been following this team since 75 and this is the first time I can honestly say that pitching is their primary strength.

Now if only they could hit.............................

I have no problem giving credit when credit is due and right now the Brewers are playing lights out baseball mainly due to their great pitching. When you have pitching like this you don't have to do too much hitting.

I just witnessed why Carpenter should be benched for not being a team player. Yadi on first with one out. The 3rd baseman was 70 feet off the line and be refuses to be a team player and push bunting the ball toward 3B. He is such a dick wad.

I guess Carpenter thinks he has his swing back but I don't.

Giving credit when credit is due, Rizzo had a great at bat before going yard on Ponce.

All teams go through peaks and valleys during a long season and we are certainly in a valley right now. The good thing about baseball is that we get to go right back at them tomorrow and hopefully get out of this slump soon.
