Brewers, on the road, sweep of LA (first time all season they've been swept in a 3gm series) is a huge confidence builder.

Pirates collapsing.

Quoting my post to say Bucco's are not collapsing.

They've made the most of their chances in last 2 games against the Brewers......... on the road.

Currently..... Brewers pitcher Wily Peralta is tied with 4 other MLB pitchers for the league leading 15 wins.

No Brewers pitcher has lead the league in wins, since Pete Vuckovich did in 1981 (14 wins). It was a strike shortened season though.

Brewers in trouble. Braun really needs PED's and the pitching is just terrible right now. Time to turn it around. Just saying.

I don't mind the Brewers, but watching the Cubs tear Garza apart was very satisfying. Cubs cost him another win!

Oh.

Cardinals currently enjoying first place despite still being 4th place in run differential. Meaningless nerd stat? Hopefully.

I have been paying closer attention to Tigers and Royals and WC race lately. Not really looking much at National league. Holy wow the Reds fell off the map.

If the Brewers keep this up, my preseason rankings will be right. Still, the Cards look to be running away with the division. It just took them longer than expected.

A bullpen can beat run differential projected wins. Especially if you have 3-4 really good relievers for your close wins, and 3-4 scrubs with 5+ era that pitch in the L games.
