How awful was that trade for tb???

We'll lose the bidding war on revised for sure unless he wants to contend with us...

He would look great on that D. I agree I don't think we land him but I hope we at least here that the 49ers checked in. That will make me happy. We land Revis we 100% draft a WR or a DT in the 1st rd of the draft

If we got Revis, I would do a flip... Well, try to do a flip and probably end up in the hospital, but it would be worth it. I just don't see it happening.

Don't stress....breath..JK! If Revis just wanted a ring,he might look to the 9ers. I don't see him as just looking for that without some money. No sale.

Revis should man-up and sign with us.

He'd have a several years of a real shot at a ring, and he'd get to chat about the weather at least twice a year with Richard Sherman. :-)

Come'on Revis do it!

Revis is not going to sign for anything less than $12M per year. It's not about winning for him. He wants to go back to the Jets for goodness sake. The Jets are horrible!

Darrelle Revis - DB - Patriots

Patriots signed CB Darrelle Revis to a one-year, $12 million contract.

Revis, 29 in July, finished his lone season in Tampa with 50 tackles, two picks, and two forced fumbles across 16 starts, making a successful recovery from his 2012 ACL tear. Despite being used improperly by since-fired Greg Schiano in zone coverage, Revis remained the top corner in the NFL. He will slide into Aqib Talib's old shadow corner role and provide an upgrade, eliminating opposing top wideouts. It's a perfect match of player and scheme. The Patriots beat out the Jets and Browns for Revis' services. In particular, look for RE Chandler Jones to benefit from Revis' lockdown back-end coverage with a breakout season.

Like I said no team was going to go over 12m per year for him. The Pats were desperate enough to offer it after losing Talib.

U see his 2nd year contract. 20 million if Pats keep him. So I think its safe to say its a 1 year rental. No way Pats keep him for 20 million next year.
