Yeah, just to shut OP up, the Hawks actually had some talent in the 80s.

They had 4 straight 50 win seasons from 86 to 89 which were their best teams.

On those teams were:

Doc Rivers- all star level PG
Kevin Willis- emerging all star PF
Tree Rollins- elite rim protector
Moses Malone- was still a 20 10 guy and an all star his first 2 years with the Hawks
Reggie Theus- 20 per game scorer and 2 time all star

And lots of quality depth with guys like Spudd Webb, John Battle, Antoine Carr, Cliff Livingston, Randy Wittman and more.

Bottom line is that Wilkins' supporting cast was actually pretty similar to what LeBron has had over the years in Cleveland, and definitely much better than LeBron's first stint with the Cavs.

Wilkins was comparable to players like Paul George and Jimmy Butler in terms of overall impact. He contributed more with scoring than George, but George is a much better defender and a comparable player overall. Butler actually rates better than Dominique in many advanced metrics.

LeBron is on another planet from guys in this tier.
