Burnaby Joe may have been a quite leader but that should not diminish the way he led by example. He had arguably the best one year stretch ever with the Hart, Pearson, and Stanley Cup as well as his Olympic achievements. He put the team on his back plenty of times and deserves more credit than this list gives him.
