First legit football comment from you in almost a week. Absolutely correct in this case.

JJ is fast for a DT but a little slow these days for a DE (may be injury related but it is what it is right now). Taylor has been getting better every game. Wish we had kept Hunt as now Tapp is our only other depth and Ziggy not 100%.

Exactly.

I agree moving Jones inside, but I would do so on obvious passing down. Keep Jones at DE on 1st downs or 3rd and short, as Jones and Ansah are good at setting the edge, which is why Detroit is so successful against the run.

If we start messing with our DE's -- we could see Arizona bouncing runs outside. So far, only one back and been able to get bounce outside on us and he does that against everbody -- Adrian Peterson.

Maybe if I was a fan of a legit football team, things would be different.

If only we had Suh's production so far this year -- all would be better. :)

Just having Suh on the field would give us a winning record right now. Probably 4-2.

I agree. We may be undefeated right now with Suh. He is having a one in a generation type of season in Miami.

Trolling again or serious?

I'm just having fun with it. I will say if someone told me I would be tied in sacks with Suh going into week 7 of the NFL season -- I would have laughed in their face.

Have your fun now. Your heart might belong to the Lions, but your avatar will soon belong to me. :suds:

If Miami was going to win this bet for you -- they should be up by a landslide right now. Not down by 20+ yards a game.

It is no disrespect to Miami -- they just aren't built to stop the run. Best chance they have to shut down the run is to get up big and force teams to throw every down, something the Lions won't have to worry about.

I'm winning the bet right now in yards (barely) and creaming you in TDs given up. Suh's job is to to get sacks, it's to open things up for his ends to get them. Last week, this resulted in 6 sacks. The future is brighter in Miamj IMO.

Because the Lions played 1 whole game more than Miami. You are losing big right now. The TDs are irrelevent.

Wake got 4 sacks because he faced a rookie tackle and schooled him. Had nothing to do with Suh whatsoever.
