.....curious to see who the pats are playing on "Thursday night kickoff".....?!
Looked at the Patriots home schedule this year...
2015 Home Opponents
Bills
Dolphins
Jets
Jaguars
Titans
Eagles
Redskins
Steelers
Only Bills, Eagles and Steelers finished over 500 last year.. and cannot say that the Bills really excite me as matchup for Patriots to open with considering their recent domination of the Bills.
I would have to vote for one of the following:
- Eagles - just to see what is up with this team potentially and all the offseason moves
- Steelers - maybe best matchup
- Dolphins - do not like division rival games this early... but if choose one this would be the best IMO

Goood lawdd, pencil in the 1 or 2 seed already. Man what a soft schedule.
The home schedule for NE looks easy but the road schedule features some interesting match ups. They have Houston, Denver, Indy, and Dallas all on the road. Throw in the divisional games which are never easy.
Denver will be a prime time game. After the way the Pats have pummelled the Colts lately I doubt that will be.
Who you thinking will get the 1st game of the season? Steelers and Eagles seem like the only ones that make much sense unless they give you a division game right off the bat. It would definitely be nice for you guys to get the Steelers first as Bell will be suspended for that one making it a bit easier. I think because of that the NFL will lean towards the Eagles as I think that game with all that Chip Kelly has done makes it the most intriguing.

Just glanced at the Bears opponents for 2015. Looks like another 5-11 season.
Alright, how about a Seattle home primetime game this year?
......I think the Dolphins might be the big "kickoff/opponent" for the pats.Jacksonville would be good for ratings....![]()
