Carroll made a couple of decisions that didn't pay off - going for the 4n1 in the first half (they didn't convert - I believe they were in the red zone), and the TO to 'ice' the kicker. The fumble by Lynch was in ATL territory, too. Little things add up.

I agree and the clock running out at the end of the 1st half. That and the 4th down call could have been chip shot FG's. Atlanta and Matt Ryan dodged a huge bullet. Good win for them though so my hat's off to them.
Tough week for the Falcons next week. The Niners look really good and this Atlanta D has some serious holes. Ryan will need to play the best game of his life and they will need a running game again.

Yeah, I don't know you guy's free agency situation, but you've got a good core of talent put together. Solid on D (though I was surprised at how ATL ran the ball today), Wilson+Lynch+Rice good skill guys on O. Zach Miller played great today. Be nice if you had a more explosive playmaker at WR, maybe. SEA will be one of the favorites going into next season.
