Sure sounds like Steelers at Patriots in Thursday night regular-season opener. Full NFL schedule release tonight at 8 on ESPN.

That will be a good matchup. Not sure who to root for though. Looks like a choice of sliding down a razor blade or sitting on a flaming porcupine.

I had Buffalo, Philly and the Steelers as the likeliest candidates in that order - I had the Steelers last due to their scheduled appearance in the preseason opener - HOF game. Guess they're going to open the preseason and the regular season.

Preseason matchups dont really matter in the nfls scheduling algorhyhm.. last year Seattle opened up PS with Denver, then got to beat them in week 2.

.....ehh,.........I was hoping a rematch from week 1 last year (fins),.......or a SB/rematch with the Eagles,.......no matter who we play it'll be like a 5th preseason game for both teams .....*nobody's in real game shape/yet*.
