Do Your Job!
Loudon is a very big event in Nascar. If you did give them more room fans would certainly fill it. More parking for RV's would go along with it. Are you suggesting we put the stadium next to the track to share parking?Texas, Florida and Nevada have no income tax. Not sure about Tennessee.
Kraft could easily buy Loudon Race Track and convert it to a domed or open stadium. The track has lost one NASCAR already and is under constant threat to lose the other one. It has limited seating of 50,000 on one side of the track. The owner owns a huge amount of surrounding acreage and NASCAR is pushing him to build 2.5 mile oval. It's pretty much a sure thing that they will move the race down south where there is a much deeper love of auto racing.
Kraft would get a huge tax break to build a stadium and the state would get the funds from the federal government to build and improve the access to a new stadium. Rte. 93 is being expanded to four lanes in both directions (N & S). Rte 89 is a straight shot from as far as Burlington, Vermont and Rte 101 is a straight shot from Maine and Portsmouth. He could build a 80,000 seat stadium and never have an empty one.
Plus..............................NH does not have a sales tax. Players would love playing and quite possibly living in NH. With the tax money saved, they could buy a second home where they could spend the off season.
Nashville is a half hour from the racetrack - they could of done the same but did not want the track downtown and wanted the stadium downtown.......
