Texas, Florida and Nevada have no income tax. Not sure about Tennessee.

Kraft could easily buy Loudon Race Track and convert it to a domed or open stadium. The track has lost one NASCAR already and is under constant threat to lose the other one. It has limited seating of 50,000 on one side of the track. The owner owns a huge amount of surrounding acreage and NASCAR is pushing him to build 2.5 mile oval. It's pretty much a sure thing that they will move the race down south where there is a much deeper love of auto racing.

Kraft would get a huge tax break to build a stadium and the state would get the funds from the federal government to build and improve the access to a new stadium. Rte. 93 is being expanded to four lanes in both directions (N & S). Rte 89 is a straight shot from as far as Burlington, Vermont and Rte 101 is a straight shot from Maine and Portsmouth. He could build a 80,000 seat stadium and never have an empty one.

Plus..............................NH does not have a sales tax. Players would love playing and quite possibly living in NH. With the tax money saved, they could buy a second home where they could spend the off season.
Loudon is a very big event in Nascar. If you did give them more room fans would certainly fill it. More parking for RV's would go along with it. Are you suggesting we put the stadium next to the track to share parking?
Nashville is a half hour from the racetrack - they could of done the same but did not want the track downtown and wanted the stadium downtown.......

Loudon is really under pressure to keep the one race they have. There are huge tracks with a hundred thousand bleacher seats that are screaming for an official race. There are hundreds of acres of open space around the race track and sharing the parking would be easy. Especially if Kraft built near it and part of the deal was to pave all of it. Now you're talking real RV parking with electrical and sewerage and charging top dollar for extra days. The biggest hang up would be getting roads built to access it. It's a major pain in the ass to get there from 93 or 3. It would require spurs off 101, 4, 3 and possibly an elevated overpass through the mile and a half of franchises and the Concord Mall.

"All 26 Cup races staged at the Loudon, N.H., facility have sold out since it began hosting Cup events in 1993. The 1-mile, paper-clip shaped oval has 91,000 permanent seats."

I kinda like the Nashville Speedway where it is now. Out of the way where nobody can complain about the noise, yet entirely accessible off of I 840.

Don't misconstrue...There is always going to be complainers, I know.

In Loudon, al 15 New Hampshire residents go to the race! No noise problem!

At first glance your Loudon proposal looks good. But...

I have been to Loudon before. And Pocono, Talladega, Richmond, Dover, Watkins Glen and Maple Grove for NASCAR, NHRA or CART races.
Only two football stadiums, Gillette and whatever they are calling Titans stadium today.

The greatest thing about watching the Titans play? How fast you are rolling up the Interstate after the game ends. It is truly mind boggling how fast they get you out of there. There is an on/off ramp on both the north and south ends of the stadium and they divert all traffic so you have to get in I 24 as you leave the parking lot. Last time I was at Gillette it felt like hours just creeping staring at the bumper in front of you.

My vote still goes for Manchester, or somewhere just north or south of the city.

Loudon would be an issue anyway, it's in the Lakes Region and a lot of games are in the Fall. NH has world travelers that visit the Lakes and White Mountain regions for leaf peeping. The infrastructure could not support both. Manchester and Derry or in between are the best options. Not in leaf peeping region, close to interstate and have the land and infrastructure to support the move. And if memory serves they are about 15 to 20 miles apart, so somehwhere smack dab in the middle would be perfect.

I couldn't agree with you more. Finding enough acreage is the problem. South about 8 miles is Windham and there is enough woodland to build a stadium and park fifty thousand vehicles on open ground (Wasted space and a heat grabber). Multiple exits off 93 would be a piece of cake directing traffic to specific gates for entry to the stadium. There is huge open areas west of Manchester off 101 where there are huge open areas. Make 101 five lanes east and west. East would be 93 and west would be 95.
The team is not moving to New Hampster. No way, No how. I like the state a lot. I was up there two weeks ago and talked here about a hiking trip I did last spring.... However, the team is never moving there.

There is a distinct disadvantage to playing and living in California, New York and Illinois. The tax rates are brutal, but the major cities offer a much greater opportunity to earn a substitute income via radio and TV. players in all professional sports must pay income taxes to those states as well as Massachusetts and Maryland when they play a single game or a series in those states. The problem is that the entire tax system has become corrupt in order to provide more than they were originally intended.
The same holds true for Massachusetts. The value is less than New York, but the taxes are less too.

Can we agree free agents are not skipping NE because of taxes but going to New York because of greater opportunity?

We're aware that's sort of what started this back and forth

Uh...No.

Players have actually said they were not going to Foxborough because of the taxes.

Now did any FA think that Rogers would bring them a ring if they went to NY?
Would that out weigh the higher taxes?

You decide.

I don't think we can.

I think the Pats need some creative means to offset the cost of taxes. Not sure how that's done but MA has always been a fuck you tax state, which is why NH is now so full of massholes. Massholes that want to come in and change how shit is done in NH. In all honesty of Kraft decides to build a new stadium he would be an idiot if he at least does not consider NH

The Patriots have all kinds of problems with the present roster, but do have $123M and some decent draft spots.

The Chiefs have $15M to spend in FA and the top four players account for 66% of the cap that's being eaten.

Patrick Mahomes is the biggest cap hit, accounting for $66.3 million in 2025.

Jawaan Taylor and Joe Thuney are also taking huge paychecks on the offensive line.

They are earning $27.4 and $27 million respectively.

Travis Kelce also has a massive cap hit for the tight end position. He is earning $19.8 million.

Get this.................................The Chiefs are considering releasing Thuney and Kelce. That would give them an extra $47M but it would take away Mahomes safety valve and open a hole on his blind side.

Would a 35 year old Kelce and Thuney be worth the effort and money to pick up if the Patriots coule get them for half of their present salaries??

Thuney had his ass handed to him in the Superbowl.
A third of his present salary maybe.

Kelce will probably retire if he is going to get cut. If not...Sure. Bring him on.

So WTF I guess I do not know how this works. I assumed talking shop was closed until March?
My guess is that JJ planted a story so that other teams will start snooping and maybe give him a call about Micah's availability. All of this talking stuff is BS because the league forbids it. If it was true, Goodell would have to call out both teams and investigate the rule violation. I just put something to that effect in another thread after looking up the actual rules about "Talking".
