Josh like a FB in the game plan if I remember correctly.FB? TE? - probably a tackling dummy for camp.......
So do I - if the plays are designed for it........Josh like a FB in the game plan if I remember correctly.
If you can get him for a 4th do it today. Maybe for a 3rd, it solves one problem.According to this report, Deebo was nearly traded to the Patriots last year........

What it might cost Patriots to land Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel
There are a pair of star wide receivers the Patriots could trade for this offseason. Read more on Boston.com.www.boston.com
Samuel offers a bit more than your typical WR. His size and speed allows him to do the reverse a bit quicker and get beyond the line of scrimmage at a deeper angle. That and he's what 6'3"? He's bigger and faster than anyone presently on the Patriots except Pop, speed-wise. I'd take him over Bourne and Polk in a heartbeat. I wouldn't give up anything more than a fourth round pick.Im not hell bent on Samuel, would rather have Higgins or no WR at all
Sure, here you go.Everyone is trying to steal all the attention from the Super Bowl......................................
Would you trade a two for the 29 year old??
I had a bowl of Scoops with chili during the game. I do so much love chili and football.Sure, here you go.
Not your deal, I know, but I had bacon wrapped scallops and bacon wrapped shrimp.I had a bowl of Scoops with chili during the game. I do so much love chili and football.
Yeah all that being said, I still have no interest. And he is 6' where did you get 6'3"? There is a reason his 2024 numbers were subpar, what that reason is who knows?Samuel offers a bit more than your typical WR. Not trying to start an argument..............................."Who on the Patriots equaled his production?""Samuel has spent his entire six-season career with the 49ers. Despite missing only two games due to injury in 2024, he was beginning to have a down year in terms of production. He secured 670 receiving yards, three touchdowns, 136 rushing yards, and one touchdown in 2024.
This production is a significant drop for Samuel, who secured 892 receiving yards, seven touchdowns, 225 rushing yards, and five touchdowns."
The Patriots problems are bigger than Debo Samuel, which is why in part I am averse to signing him.Not trying to start an argument..............................."Who on the Patriots equaled his production?"
I don't disagree. BUT, trading a fourth for him might help the Patriots in securing a very good OL in free agency and the draft. The Patriots problems are bigger than Debo Samuel, which is why in part I am averse to signing him.
1. Repair the O line. This goes a long way in the success of both the run game and the pass game.
2. As I said there is a reason he fell of in SF.
3. If he's cheap and we give up no more than a 4th, I would be okay with it, I just do not think he needs to be anywhere near our highest priority.
