Tom Brady is expected to be approved by the NFL Owners next week as a Minority Owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Reports vary as to the stake. Minimum is 10% that cost him half billion. Some reports are that he's in for 20% that cost him $750K

Jets fired Saleh a week ago today. They lost to Buffalo last night 23-20 and the media is blaming the kicker for missing two FG over 40 yards out with very tricky wind blowing gust between 20 and 30 MPH. No way they will pin it on Hambrick the interim coach. They have the Steelers this coming Sunday and they come to Foxboro to play the Patriots. Brissett sucked in NY and Rogers hasn't lit up even when he's been at home. He was pouting after the Jets had to settle for a FG after the first series last night. Jets have just barely won two against the weak sisters, NE and TENN. They've punched out against stronger teams like the 49ers and Bills. They could challenge the Patriots for the cellar in the AFCE.

Just sayin'..........................

What you didn't say was Rodgers was pouting because his RB dropped a pass and killed the drive. He seemed to go after the ball with one hand so he could turn the corner instead of just securing the ball.

I ain't no Rodgers apologist, but his reaction was appropriate. They lost a chance for four more points on the play - then lost by 3. Little things can create large results.

And don't forget, the kicker missed two FGs of which AR had no part.

No excuses for Hall......how many receivers, both RBs, TEs and WRs attempt to catch a ball with one hand?

Just don't let the game announcers comments sway yours or anyone else's thinking. "Oh, Hall should have caught that with both hands."
Considering the fact that he was running and pumping both arms, it's sometimes very hard to extend both hands to catch a ball and not completely screw up his balance or trajectory. That, and he's not a wide receiver. Secondly, Rogers is a Diva and can never accept responsibility for anything. How about throwing a more catchable pass that he wouldn't have had to reach out so far to get?????

It's a game that every mistake is super highlighted and someone will always be the fall guy.

Jets make the deal for Devante Adams and Mike Williams is on the block.
Determined to save their season from ruin and preserve their hopes of ending a half-century Super Bowl drought, the New York Jets are finalizing a blockbuster trade for star wide receiver Davante Adams, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

The Las Vegas Raiders will receive a conditional third-round draft pick that could improve to a second-round selection, sources told Schefter. For the pick to improve to a second-rounder, Adams must be a first- or second-team All-Pro this season or be on the Jets' active roster for the AFC Championship Game or Super Bowl, the sources said.

Adams took a red-eye flight into New Jersey early Tuesday morning with the deal basically in place and was scheduled to take a physical to finalize the trade, a source told Schefter.

The Jets are assuming the balance of Adams' remaining salary, a source told Schefter. Adams' salary for this season is $17.5 million, with approximately $11.59 million still owed through the end of the season. And while he is under contract for 2025 and 2026, his annual salary jumps to $36.25 million for each of those seasons. The Raiders will carry a dead cap charge of $13.67 million in 2024 and $15.7 million in 2025, according to Spotrac.com.

Jets gonna Jets!

Think Rodgers will be throwing to him next year?
Chances Rodgers still playing in New Jersey?
Chances Adams still playing for $36.25 million next year?
Chances the coaching staff is still working for the Jets next year?

As has been said a million times, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

Former Patriots kicker Chad Ryland is now the kicker for the Arizona Cardinals.

Quality starting left tackles are so hard to find and they've been aging well into their mid-30s, meaning the 32-year-old Bolles is set for one more big payday.

This is admittedly a projection, but every bit of evidence thus far has shown Little can be a quality starting left tackle in the league. He's just been stuck behind Cam Robinson.

I can't speak for the others but Bolles I think would be a good get for you guys if the Broncos let him hit FA. He is right on that edge of being a really good LT. The last 5 weeks of the season he has given up 2 pressures or less every single game. He started out the year though horrible and he seems to do that where early on it takes him a while to get back into the swing of things, but once he does he becomes a very competent LT. You do have to account though for him having at least a few drive destroying holding calls. He can't help but grab.

I honestly don't think the Broncos are planning on keeping him. They have a ton of money invested in their OL and have a couple of young guys they could explore seeing what they bring to the table. Broncos have also been close the last 3 years to trading him so that is now 2 coaching staffs that have been good with keeping him, but also wouldn't mind if the right deal fell into their laps to see him out the door.

He sounds like a better fit for Miami. Tua could use a guy that doesn’t start blocking until game 5

They all grab. Sometimes the refs see it, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they call it, sometimes they don't.

It all depends on whether the Chiefs have the lead, or are "Staging" a comeback...

Chiefs acquired WR DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans in exchange for a conditional fourth-round draft pick.
It’s a move the Chiefs were almost forced to make ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline after losing JuJu Smith-Schuster to a hamstring injury in Week 7. Kansas City had already lost Rashee Rice (knee) and Marquise Brown (shoulder) for the season and obviously did not want to rely on rookie Xavier Worthy as the team’s top wideout option. Hopkins should instantly soak up short-area and intermediate looks from Patrick Mahomes — the kind that made Rice and, briefly, Smith-Schuster, so valuable for fantasy purposes. Look for the KC target distribution to narrow in the coming weeks, with Travis Kelce and Hopkins, 32, dominating opportunities in a Chiefs offense that is uncharacteristically 4 percent below its expected drop back rate over the past month. Calvin Ridley should see a target bump in the Tennessee offense with Hopkins out of the picture.

4th or 5th round pick depending on playing time and/or KC trip to the SB.

AND...Titans are still paying half his salary because KC didn't have the cap space.

WTF?

This move for the Chiefs doesn't move the needle a ton for me. He has been consistently injured (has a partially torn MCL right now that he is playing through) and hasn't been the same player that he used to be. I think he will be a fine WR but Hopkins at this point in his career is more name than production. He isn't terrible but the trades of Cooper and Adams are players that would actually worry me to have to match up against.

He tore it back in July. It is only a partial tear and we do not know the severity of it. He has been playing through it, but if you go watch his games you can see a guy that is limited on the types of routes he runs. I was listening to Chase Daniels earlier talk about Hopkins. He was all excited for the Chiefs until he actually watched Hopkins tape this year. Said he runs only about 4 routes all game long and they limit his need to cut on his knee.

He also had to be held out of the 4th quarter of this past game because of knee pain. So the injury is still there.

This further illustrates the risk of signing older, once great WR's after an injuriy.

WR is a weird position. Almost all WR's are very dependent on QB ability to be productive so top-10 WR's usually have a top-10 QB throwing to them...who would have thought?! Yet they get paid. Right now receiver is 3rd only behind QB and Edge rusher. And rarely do we see these WR's getting the huge contracts actually live up to the contract and then we see these kind of trades happening every year.

I get there is value to having a coverage dictating type talent on your team, but I think WR might be the most overpaid position in sports. And I do think with all these guys getting traded we are seeing a lot of buyers remorse for these teams.
