If Rodgers plays 65% of snaps in 2023 the Packers get the Jets first rounder in 2024. If not, it defaults to a 2nd rounder. Plus, the Packers move up 2 spots in round 1 and get a 2nd rounder this year. If the 2024 pick is a 1st rounder I think the Packers won this one for a QB who didn't want to stay in GB. This trade should put the Jets in the playoffs, but I think the Chiefs, Bills, and Bengals are better teams right now.

Rams sent 2 firsts, a third, and a starting QB with potential to the Lions for Stafford.

Broncos sent 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and more to Seattle for Wilson.

I can’t stand Aaron Rodgers and believe he is overrated; however, he is undeniably more successful than the other two QBs and all the Jets have given up is a 2 this season and a 1 next (maybe). The Jets were a threat last season with Zach Wilson, Mike White, and Father Time.

GB didn’t want to keep AR…that is why AR wanted out. This is the same thing that happened with Favre because GB is smart enough To get something for your legend except another year of mediocrity. Yes, the trade should absolutely mean playoffs at a minimum unless Rodgers gets injured.

I think it's a good haul for a 39-year-old QB who might only play one year.

Maybe…and if he wins the SB, easily worth it. They didn’t have to mortgage their future for a recent MVP.

well you can say that about any QB trade. Its very possible that the Jets make the playoffs and then lose, and AR says im going to retire. Now the Jets lose their 1st in 2024. I think its a lot for basically a possible one year.

Ravens signed QB Lamar Jackson to a five-year extension through 2028.

Sanity has prevailed in Baltimore. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the agreement "trumps" the five-year, $255 million contract signed by Jalen Hurts earlier this month. The sticking point was likely the guarantees. Jackson wanted a fully guaranteed deal after Deshaun Watson landed one in Cleveland. Baltimore and seemingly the rest of the NFL was adamant that could not happen. Profootballtalk reports Jackson's pact will indeed be more "traditional" than Watson's. That's a disappointment, but Jackson is still going to become one of the highest-paid athletes in North America, and deservedly so. The 2019 MVP has experienced regression and back-to-back injury-marred seasons, but his dual-threat game-breaking ability remains amongst the game's most dangerous weapons. The Ravens have also finally moved on from old school OC Greg Roman, and appear poised to open up Jackson's passing possibilities. Still only 26 years old, Jackson is a yearly threat to finish as the fantasy QB1.

Actually this and a new owner could very well bring some fans back to the redskins. This one of the worst move ravens ever made. Should’ve just drafted Richardson. They let the best o coordinator for LJ leave as well

Among the changes to the schedule this season:

NFL will have a Black Friday game for the first time ever.

Games don’t necessarily “belong” to networks anymore. All games are free agents.

Teams can be on Thursday Night Football twice.

Not all teams are guaranteed to have a primetime spot.

thats interesting. So, all the NFC games are not on Fox and AFC games on CBS? I hope we dont get a Thursday night game, players hate it.

Ok, this idiot has to go himself. Danny boy has been slayed, move along Irsay. If "in fact" Rivera did contact a source close to Luck, then sure, he can go with Danny. If "in fact" RR & Co did not contact or have conversations with anyone other than the Colts when speaking prior to the Wentz trade, Irsay should be at minimum fined. Half the chit that comes Washington's way is based on meritless accusations or driven by media without any substantial evidence. So in so told me so it must be true.

What about the Commanders?” you ask.

Well, they have not produced a winning record since Kirk Cousins was the starter of the 2015 and 2016 teams

7 yrs for the people who thought we could do better . I don’t believe KC is close to the highest paid guy at qb now . a Couple of people said that at the time and have since been proven right
