Congrats to Jalen. He had a hell of year as did the Eagles.

We all know contracts are timing .... the next guy wants the most. It has worked that way for a loing time except for Brady who gave home town discounts.

Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert are coming up. What do they get? They are probably the 2nd or 4th best QBs in the league. Mahomes is clearly the best.

This is a bit of a stretch, what if Howell is bad to the bone? He will make less than $1 million this year and has two more rookie contract years after this.

I can't help but think back to the backlash at the thought of Cousins making $19 million ... or even the thought of Wentz (he wasn't worth it) making $26 million .... that is chump change.

Who is worth that much that the rest of team has to work around those contracts? Anybody ready for Sam to get 5 years $60 million in 2026 if he makes it big time?

By the same token how is no one paying Lamar $40 million a year or more .... although I would not guarantee the entire amount due to his playing style.

Hell I am wondering how Minnesota is going to fix the defense with Cousins making a little more than $20 million this year and $28 million next year. JJ has to get paid somewhere between $25 and $30 million.
